What is the Wales 3000ers?

The Wales 3000ers is a challenge to complete 14 peaks (all above 3000 feet) in Snowdonia in a continuous journey, including climbing all the way to the summit of Snowdon. A team of parents and teachers from the Old School Henstead will head off to Snowdonia on Sunday the 20th May to complete the challenge.

Alongside the peaks, the students and parents will also be doing the Henstead Hike. The Henstead Hike is a 12-mile cross-country sponsored walk that finishes at the school on May 25th.

Eastpoint is supporting these fundraising efforts with a donation of £100 and a lot of good luck wishes to our employees and their families who are taking part in the walks.

You can also donate to the fundraising by visiting the Virgin Money Giving page here. The school have, so far, raised an impressive £430! Good luck to everyone involved, and good luck on the new minibus mission.
