Eastpoint is very pleased to share that we are supporting Circus Starr and their big top performance in Great Yarmouth this autumn.
What is Circus Starr?
Circus Starr’s mission is to create accessible community circus events throughout the UK that positively engage with families, children and individuals from disadvantaged backgrounds. Their unique ethos is to raise thousands of pounds for local charities from the advance sales of tickets to local businesses.
Circus Starr is a circus with a purpose that was founded back in 1987. The touring show goes up and down the country to provide a world-class show for disadvantaged, disabled and vulnerable children that doesn’t cost them a penny.
The show tours 75 venues three times a year and operates a unique ‘donated ticket’ programme with the support of local businesses. Additional funds go to local charities in the show’s areas and also goes towards working with community groups, such as hospices, young carers, foster homes, refuges and more.
We are really pleased to have donated to Circus Starr to fund seats for local young people to visit the show that’ll be taking part up from the road from us in Great Yarmouth. We hope they all have an absolutely brilliant time.
