We are so excited to have donated £100 to the Barge Preservation and Community project which is a cause very close to home, located in Oulton Broad.
An amazing team of boat enthusiasts have come together to restore a 1928 barge back to its former glory. They are raising £150,000 to turn the barge into tearoom, bar and restaurant but it is all for the benefit of the community. They are going to put the profits from the barge back into the community to help those who struggle with their mental health and disadvantaged families.
We wish them the best of luck on this adventure and can’t wait to visit once it is complete!
