We are delighted to have supported Andrea Smith, the new Executive Director for Procurement at YPO, by donating £100 to ‘Walk the Walk’ who are an amazing charity that raise money and awareness for breast and other cancers.
She will be taking part in the iconic MoonWalk Iceland charity night walk where participants will walk a marathon in ‘the land of the midnight sun’ amongst the most incredible, breathtaking scenery.
Sadly, cancer touches many lives and we all know someone who has suffered with this awful disease. Walk the Walk introduced the unique MoonWalk challenge to encourage more people to bravely talk about their experiences with cancer. So far, since the charity began in 1996, at least half a million people have been a part of this incredible challenge and between them have raised a staggering £139 million!
