Eastpoint ranked in top 35% of companies for sustainability

Our commitment to sustainability has been recognised with a bronze medal from EcoVadis this January. Only the top 35% of companies assessed by EcoVadis across all industries are given this highly regarded accolade.

EcoVadis is one of the world’s most trusted business sustainability ratings, so we’re delighted to be ranked this highly on our very first attempt. Particularly because we know this bronze medal will give our customers added confidence that they’re buying from a company that operates with sustainability in mind.

The rigorous EcoVadis assessment required us to show our commitment across four key areas: the environment, ethics, labour and human rights, and sustainable procurement. Here are just a few of the ways we’re delivering on these:

  • Removing plastic laminating from cardboard packaging across many of our products
  • Printing with vegetable-based inks on our Show-me® packaging
  • Fitting motion sensors on lighting and electric car charging stations at our offices
  • Using a Community Interest Company to assemble many of our kits
  • Donating a percentage of our profits to charity.

Alfie Temple, our Managing Director, said “Operating more sustainably is key to our strategy at Eastpoint. The EcoVadis bronze medal is a huge achievement for the whole team and shows the progress we’ve made so far. We’ll keep working hard to lessen our impact on the planet and increase our positive impact on our community.”
