Rigid MDF Mini-whiteboards have been a great resource in schools, and continue to be popular, despite the environmental impact of production.
We believe that the high energy used in the production of MDF, as well as the difficultly of recycling and the chemicals present in the binders that can leak over time, make it much less attractive as a solution compared to plastic alternatives.
Our range of Show-me mini-whiteboards are made from Polypropylene (PP), which is 100% recyclable and is one of the most neutral plastics produced. The flexibility of plastic is seen as a benefit over rigid options, however if you need a solution that has more rigidity, check out the semi-rigid SUPERTOUGH mini-whiteboards that have all of the benefits of Show-me original but 85% thicker.
